Why convert?
With Flexible Teams, you can now move the teams you've added in segments into cross-functional groups that better reflect how people actually work together.
Cross-functional teams allow employees to join several teams at once without affecting anonymity. This helps everyone collaborate more smoothly and gives you more accurate insights.
They're perfect for both short-term projects and long-term setups!
💡 What you’ll get
- You can add managers, leaders, and admins to each team
- Cross-functional teams have their own organisational structure, separate from the direct-reporting teams
- Survey responses and comments connected directly to the team
- Team members can see their team’s temperature data
- Full integration across Winningtemp — from Analytics and Insights to Actions and Guided Temperature Meetings
Get started!
- (Optional) First, create any needed parent teams via Administration > Teams
- Click Administration
- Go to Segments, then click the three dots next to the one you want to convert
- Select Convert to Team
- Read the information and click Set up new team
- Use the wizard to review and confirm:
- The team’s name
- Where the team belong in your organisational structure (parent team)
- The team’s category type
- If you want to move the segment’s temperature to the new team as well
- Once you’ve reviewed everything, click Finish conversion.
Good to know
- Any surveys that included the Segment will automatically use the new team going forward.
