Set up Personio integration with Winningtemp

Keeping employee information up-to-date is important for us at Winningtemp therefore we have a brilliant solution for you if you use Personio. By integrating Winningtemp with Personio, it allows for automatic syncing of your employee data, meaning that your employee list always stays up-to-date. Any employee updates made on Personio will automatically be synced every night to Winningtemp.

The first step towards integrating the two systems is to check with your Customer Success Manager to make sure it's available for your company. After that, we are ready to start the process.


Which attributes can you sync from Personio?

The attributes that are available to sync from Personio are the following:

⚠ Before activating the integration

The integration syncs using the email attribute, if the email doesn't exist in Winningtemp it will automatically create a new account. If it already exists, it will update the existing user. Therefore, make sure that you have the same email for your users in Winningtemp as in Personio, or you risk duplicating your users during the sync. 

 

Let's connect Personio with Winningtemp

  1. In Winningtemp go to the Admin view
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Apps
  4. Click Personio

You will now see this welcome page of the Personio integration, where we can start to add information and initiate the integration.

  1. First, let's add the Client ID which is a number generated in Personio. If you are unsure of how to gather Client ID press "Where to find my client ID?" which will help you find it in Personio.
  2. The same thing goes for Client secret, which also is generated in Personio. If you are unsure of how to gather Client ID press "Where to find my client secret?" which will help you find it in Personio. 
  3. Under Send report to enter the email address of the recipients that should receive a daily report with a summary of the changes that were integrated.
  4. The next step is to toggle Enable automatic invitations. This toggle is used to enable/disable e-mail invitations to new users in Winningtemp provisioned from Personio. We recommend enabling this function so that new users are notified when they are invited to Winningtemp. 
  5. Last but not least, click Enable Personio integration in the left field of the interface. This will activate the integration between Winningtemp and Personio.
