Set up BambooHR integration with Winningtemp

Keeping employee information up-to-date is important for us at Winningtemp therefore we have a brilliant solution for you if you use BambooHR. Integrating Winningtemp with BambooHR, enables automatic syncing of your employee data, meaning that your employee information is always up-to-date in Winningtemp. 

The first step toward integrating the two systems is to check with your Customer Success Manager to make sure it's available for your company. After that, we are ready to start the process.

Which attributes can be synced from BambooHR?

⚠ Before activating the integration

The integration syncs using the email attribute, if the email doesn't exist in Winningtemp it will automatically create a new account. If it already exists, it will update the existing user. Therefore, make sure that you have the same email for your users in Winningtemp as in BambooHR, or you risk duplicating your users during the sync. 

Let's connect BambooHR with Winningtemp

1. In Winningtemp go to the Admin view.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Apps.
4. Click BambooHR.

You will now see a welcome page where you can start to add information and initiate the integration. 

1. Enter the subdomain. If you access BambooHR through https://www."yourcompanyname".bamboohr.com then "yourcompanyname" is the subdomain.
2. Click Connect.
3. It will now redirect you to BambooHR, where you can sign in with your BambooHR user account.
4. After you've signed in, you'll return to the Winningtemp webpage again.
5. Enter the email address of the recipients that should receive a daily report with a summary of what was changed by the integration.
6. The next step is to toggle Enable automatic invitations. This toggle enables/disables e-mail invitations to new users in Winningtemp provisioned from BambooHR. We recommend that you enable this function to notify all new users when they are invited to Winningtemp.
7. Last but not least, click Enable BambooHR Integration.

Good to know

If you already have active users in Winningtemp when turning on the BambooHR integration it will automatically check the email attribute and compare it between Winningtemp and BambooHR. Meaning that there will be no duplicate users.
