Set a team function

⚒️ Under development

Team benchmarks are on their way. You can already start adding team functions, and once the feature is ready, your data will be all set.

Team function describes what a team does in your organisation, for example, Sales, IT, or Finance. Setting a function helps you classify your teams and later on compare their results against similar teams across all Winningtemp customers.

Team function is optional. Not all teams need one, for example, teams based on location or project name.

Access control

Adminssystem administrators, and users with the support role can set or change team functions.

Set a team function

  1. Go to Administration and click Teams.
  2. Click the three dots next the team.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select a function from the Function dropdown. Note: you can only select one function per team.
  5. Click Save.

Apply a function to all sub-teams

If a team has sub-teams that share the same function, you can pass the function down automatically.

  1. Go to Administration and click Teams.
  2. Click the three dots next the team.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select a function from the Function dropdown and tick the Inherit to subteams checkbox.
  5. Click Save.

All sub-teams will inherit the parent team's function and update automatically if you change it later. You can still set a separate function for any sub-team at any time, which overrides the inherited value.
