Temperature analysis: how scores and colours work

Understanding how Winningtemp measures and displays temperature data helps you get more out of your analysis. This article walks you through the thresholds behind the quick filters, what the colours in the heatmap mean, and how eNPS results are colour-coded, so you always know what you're looking at.
 

How quick filters were determined

The Quick filters use thresholds based on the lower and upper quartiles of all Winningtemp data.

The lower quartile (Q1) means that 25% of all responses fall below that value. The upper quartile (Q3) means that 75% of all responses fall below it. Q2 is the median value.


Temperature colours

In the heatmap, temperature is shown in five colours with evenly distributed intervals. Keep in mind that eNPS uses a different scale. See below.
