The conversation can cover the employee's personal development, work situation, and team cooperation, among other topics. These types of communications can be viewed as milestones in an employee's tenure within the company. It is a time for reflection, constructive feedback, and talking about the employee's job satisfaction and ambitions.
Many companies refer to these types of conversations as performance reviews or appraisals. They typically last around 60-90 minutes and are held annually.
