At certain times of the year, you can customise the smileys to make them feel a bit more personal. At Christmas, you can help them through the cold winter by adding a warm and cosy Santa hat. It’s also a simple way to spread some Christmas cheer at the office. 🎄
With the flip of a button, the Christmas saga begins
- Select Administration in the side menu
- Click System & templates
- At the bottom of the page, you'll find Use Christmas smileys
- Activate it, and Santa is ready!
When should I activate it?
Santa’s got your back, and to make things easy, you can activate the feature whenever you like. The Christmas smileys are only shown between 1 and 30 December, regardless of when you activate the feature, so that you won’t see Santa hats in August. 😉
The smileys automatically change their look in December, which means you don’t need to deactivate the feature. Just keep it turned on, and Santa will take care of the rest. 🎅🎄
Pro-Tip
If a user wants to deactivate the Christmas theme for themselves only, they can click Hide Christmas theme.
