Log in using Multi-factor authentication

When Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is activated in your company/organisation, here's how to set it up and sign in to Winningtemp.

What is multi-factor authentication (MFA)?

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a layered approach to securing data and applications, where it requires that you present a combination of two or more credentials to verify your identity when logging in to an application or system.

With the extra layer of security, you can rest assured that you are protected from potential malicious intent.

The first time you log in with MFA activated

When the System administrator activates MFA, you'll be prompted to set up MFA during the next login. Just follow the onscreen instructions to download and set up Google Authenticator. If you are already logged in to Winningtemp, the changes will apply the next time you log in.

Pro-tip: Sign in using the browser and scan the MFA QR code with your smartphone for a smoother set-up process.

How to log in (after MFA has been configured)

  1. Enter your username (the email address)
  2. Enter your password
  3. Winningtemp prompts you for a six-digit code and asks you to open the Google Authenticator app
  4. Open up the Google Authenticator app and find the six-digit code under the name Winningtemp
  5. Enter the six-digit code in Winningtemp and you are now logged in.

Reset the MFA configuration

If you are still signed in to Winningtemp you can reset the MFA configuration and start over:

  1. Go to My profile
  2. Click Security
  3. Click Reset multi-factor authentication

The next time you sign in, you will be prompted to set up a new MFA login, just like the first time. If you can't sign in, contact your System administrator, who can help you reset the MFA configuration from the Admin view.
