What's new: October 2026

Here's what we shipped last month, and how to put it to use.

Try AI Conversation free for 30 days

AI Conversation goes from showing that something has changed to explaining why, and gives managers concrete insights into what to do next. You can try AI Conversation free for 30 days, with no limits on teams, surveys or usage. It's the easiest way to see what a conversational survey reveals that a regular survey can't.

We have also added four new question categories: AI at work, Change impact, Change readiness, and Digital/hybrid work environment. Perfect if you are in HR and want to know the status of different initiatives.

How to get started

  1. System admins go to Administration → System & templates and switch on AI Conversation. The 30-day trial starts then.
  2. Want a look first? Try the demo chat without starting the trial.
  3. A counter shows how many days are left and when the trial ends.

Good to know: When the trial ends, employees can still finish surveys already in their inbox, and AI Insights can still be viewed. You cannot create new surveys or download PDFs. To keep creating AI Conversation surveys, reach out to your Winningtemp contact.

Show each employee their own company name

Groups with several subsidiaries can now run one survey where every employee sees the name of their own company. A question like "I am proud to work at ___" shows the employee's subsidiary instead of the group name, so you no longer need a copy of the survey for each company.

How to get started

  1. Go to Administration → Teams and give the relevant teams the team category Subsidiary.
  2. In the survey's General step, turn on Vary company name by subsidiary. The preview shows a "Recipient's subsidiary" placeholder.
  3. Each employee sees the name of the nearest Subsidiary team above them, in the questions as well as in the email subject line and reminders.

Good to know: Works for Pulse, Periodic and Focus surveys. If an employee has no Subsidiary team above them, or more than one, they see the organisation name from System settings. Subsidiaries that need different questions still need their own survey.

Choose how often eNPS is asked in Pulse

You now decide how often the eNPS question appears in your Pulse survey, instead of a fixed interval. That gives you a steady eNPS trend at the pace that suits your organisation.

How to get started

When you create or edit a Pulse survey, set the eNPS frequency in the Questions step, for example, every fourth mailing.

Good to know: Existing Pulse surveys get a default based on how often they're sent. If you send weekly, every two weeks or every three weeks, eNPS may now appear a little more often than before, and never less often. You can change it anytime in the Questions step. Periodic surveys still include eNPS in every mailing. The option to add eNPS manually to a single mailing has been removed for Pulse.

Connect your HR system yourself

You can now connect your HR system to Winningtemp right in the product. The new Integrations page shows every HR system we support and which employee fields each one can sync, so you can keep users and their details up to date automatically.

How to get started

  1. Go to Integrations and request access. Your Customer Success Manager will get in touch.
  2. Once access is granted, connect your HR system through a secure pop-up. It takes about 30 minutes.
  3. A setup guide shows where you are, from connected to configured, previewed and live. Once live, you'll see sync status, logs and reports.

Good to know: Nothing changes in your Winningtemp data until you've reviewed and approved a test sync. The integration covers users and their employee properties; the org structure is still set up together with our team. If you already have an integration, you'll see your existing setup.

Run periodic surveys on a 5-point scale

Alongside our 4-point scale, you can now run periodic surveys on a 5-point scale. Respondents get five options, including a neutral midpoint, and results land on the same 0–10 temperature as today. For example, it could be a good fit for strategic or annual surveys where a neutral option and more granularity add value.

How it works

  1. Choose the scale per periodic survey when you create it.
  2. Results from the two scales are shown separately on the Temperature overview. The heatmap combines them and tells you when it does.
  3. Works on the web and in the mobile app.

Good to know: The 4-point scale remains our default. The 5-point scale is available on request, so talk to your Winningtemp contact if you'd like to use it.
